Jo Berenson is an independent producer based in New York City. With a specialization in Producing from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts and an MBA Candidacy at the NYU Stern School of Business, Jo has an extensive educational background in the business of entertainment and independent producing across multiple media.

Her experience in producing began at Playwrights Horizon Theater School as a stage manager and producer, and has continued into several competitive internships in the entertainment industry. To date, she has interned in development at Rebelle Media, in production and post-production at Bungalow Media + Entertainment, and served as a Project Manager and Creative Executive for Hero Artists and Hero Entertainment on their development, production, and theatrical release efforts.
